El Parque Municipal se ha convertido en ‘Murgi. Ciudad Romana’ gracias a la recreación histórica que ha organizado el Ayuntamiento de El Ejido y la Diputación de Almería. A través de este evento de historia en vivo, vecinos y visitantes tienen la oportunidad de conocer, a lo largo de todo este día, los diferentes aspectos de la vida civil, militar y religiosa. En la jornada están participando cinco grupos especializados en recreaciones históricas que han llegado de Madrid, Sevilla, Málaga y Córdoba.
A la recreación han asistido la concejala de Cultura, Julia Ibáñez; el vicepresidente segundo de la Diputación, Ángel Escobar; el edil de Obras Públicas, Mantenimiento y Servicios, José Andrés Cano, y la concejala de Servicios Sociales y Mujer, Delia Mira, junto a numerosos espectadores.
